Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Kasumi Arimura: March 2015 news #1
Titled this post #1 as there should be a few more this month, one for sure on Saturday as Kasumi's new movie "Strobe Edge" has it's official release. Kasumi has the lead role in the film and she's also had two other lead roles in films but both of them were sort of low budget affairs, think this one is more of a major release. Her and the cast have been doing a lot of promoting for the film, on the 11th they were at the Shinagawa Etoile Girls High School in Tokyo promoting it along with another showing of the film. The male lead in the movie is Sota Fukushi who I don't know much about but last week watched him in the "Enoshima Prism" film and he did a solid performance in it.
Doesn't Kasumi look fabulous in the above pics, really hope the film is a hit as she deserves to become more popular. On the 10th she did even more plugging for the movie on the School of Locks radio show.
One last thing are some pics from a new Oricon Style article. The pics are from their site but Kasumi also did a live interview that was recorded and the video for it is after the pics.
