Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Saki Fukuda: "Owakon" drama episode 4 recap and screenshots

This drama ran on the NHK BS Premium channel for a total of eight episodes with it's start date July 1, 2014 and it's air time was Tuesdays at 11:15 pm.

Main Cast:

Sonny Chiba as Genjiro Aramaki... President of Chocolate TV
Kotaro Koizumi as Keisuke Mihashi.... Producer
Nana Katase as Kanako Minamoto.... Producer
Saki Fukuda as Misaki Shinoda.... Assistant Director
Shigeyuki Totsugi as Hayabusa Takahashi.... Producer
Satoshi Tomiura as Masaharu Kinoshita.... Misaki's assistsnt
Yuya Endo as Jun Tsukamoto..... Assistant Director
Yui Ichikawa as Tadashi Komata.... Temporary clerical worker

Bigger part for Saki in this episode, five of the shows she had a key role in but in three she didn't but then again most of the cast had smaller roles in a few of the episodes.
Saki as Misaki is only an assistant director but seems to know what's going on everywhere at the small Chocolate TV station, one of her unwritten tasks is to oversee the newcomer Kinoshita. He's someone who doesn't like TV all that much even though he's working at a station, he doesn't understand why the company produces variety shows and not intense documentaries all the time. Misaki has to teach him the ways of life in the world of TV as it's those fluffy shows which drama the high ratings and enable them to make those hard hitting documentaries.
Misaki admitted she also thought that way when she started at Chocolate TV but has learned the ins and outs of TV over the years, took a bit of lecturing on her part but was able to instill in Kinoshita why things have to be the way they are, he's not overly happy but reluctantly agrees to keep his thoughts to himself and work for the good of the TV station.

Short episodes equals short recaps but besides a few minor details what was written was just about everything that happened in the show. Have a habit of over explaining things but have been trying to tone that down recently and on some shows really just give the basic gist of what happened, actually a drama like this is one you should watch and not just rely on these reviews, it's really an enjoyable series. What's more enjoyable is how Saki looks, not dressed glamorous at all as she is a director working on the set of a live TV show but still her kawaiiness shines through. Took more screenshots of Saki for this episode than any other one as she had her biggest amount of screen time in this show, will say it once again but really need to see her in another full time drama very soon.
