Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Yuko Oshima: "J Series Festival" from June 4th pics

Was thinking about doing a mid-year top ten list at the end of this month, thought I'd do something different this time. That difference would be having two lists, one of Idols with the other consisting of actresses. You would think Yuko should go on the Idols list but don't you think she's no longer considered one these days? It's been two years since her graduation from AKB and now she's really gaining recognition as an actress so think she should end up being on that list. Doesn't really matter which list Yuko is on as she may finish #1 on either one, looks like she's already celebrating.

Yuko's is currently starring in her second stage play "Miyuki-Anne conditional love" which has a short break as they're traveling from Tokyo to another city for more performances. Doesn't mean she's taking a break as on June 4th Yuko was in Bangkok promoting the "J-Series Festival". The festival is promoting Japanese cultural things such as drama, movies and music.... she's all the culture any of us would need.
The festival is sponsored by NHK and JAB, seems the Japanese are a bit late promoting their things as Korean dramas and music are quite popular in Southeast Asia. After this the festival will be going on to Indonesia, no clue whether Yuko will also be there but if she is will have more fabulous pics such as these from this festival which took place on June 4th. Will also be on the lookout for a good video of the event, few are on YT but don't think they'll be there much longer.
