Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mirei Kiritani: Some new mag scans....

Mirei does have a drama currently airing but besides that there hasn't been too much else going on. Up until this year she was good for about ten or more appearances at events promoting some product. Usually she looked quite superb at those shows but for this year can only recall her being at one of those kinds of events. As a matter of fact just occurred to me there was no big event for her new drama either.
That drama is titled "Sukina Hito ga Iru Koto", so far three episodes have aired. Average rating for those three shows is a 9.7% which is an okay figure but it has slipped as it started out with a rating a little over 11%. Lately have been trying to keep up with dramas as they've been airing though with this show will do the opposite and wait until it finishes. It's one of those lighthearted romance shows and I'm not too fond of them. When they're done right they're very good watches, sadly that's not often the case. You can often tell by the ratings whether a show in this genre is good, if it stays at a consistent level then the viewers are kept interested, so far it's hard to tell by the ratings.

Hours later PS- Her drama from last Autumn "Atlier/Underwear" has just been subbed so will be watching that that series first, viewed a bit of it unsubbed and it appeared to be an okay show.

No films in the works for Mirei either, last year she was in a pair of films that did well at the box office, especially "No Longer Heroine". Figured more roles would come her way, starring roles at that, but so far it hasn't happened. Perhaps no new films but do have some superb new mag spreads for her fans which are many judging by how many views her posts get. First set of pics isn't a true spread but it's an interview from Elle with some stupendous pics, here's the site address if you want to check the interview out: www.ele.co.jp/fashion/pick/chloegirls16_07_mireikiritani

First spread is a small one from the September issue of More.

Rest of them are good sized spreads though, once again dressed in blue for the July 28th issue of Tokyo Walker and Mirei makes us feel anything but blue!

Two more September spreads coming up, this one is for Ginger.

Last Mirei spread is another superb set of pics from Voce, all these pics are much more conservative compared to her ones from years past but they still all rate an A+.

Final thing for this post is a brand new CM for Y!mobile.
