Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Nogizaka46: A little of this and that for 2017 #19

June 28th is the release date for the group's 4th anniversary concerts on DVD. Nice to finally see some concerts being released but why does it take them ten months to put them out? Hello Project DVD's seem to come out rather quickly such as two months or less after a concert, these three performances took place last August 28th to the 30th at the Meiji Jingu Stadium in Tokyo.
There's going to be a total of eight versions that will be released, you can get an individual show or a DVD of all three concerts. The deluxe Blue Ray edition of all three concerts will only set you back... $207!!!! News for the release has just come out and the pics here are from Nogi's main site.

All of the DVD's are quite expensive with the cheapest still being sixty something dollars. The groups third album 'Umarete' included three DVD's and one of them were live performances from 2016. Just watched it over the weekend and there were some terrific songs on it and the cost is just a fraction of what the new releases will be. Lot of different variations of the songs were done as so many of the hit singles had the Senbatsu and Undergirl members teamed up.
No new mag spreads have come out recently though I expect many of them very soon. The third generation members have been doing a series of special interviews for 'TheTV.jp' site to promote the eighth season of 'NOGIBINGO!', latest member to be featured was Yuuki.

Those above pics for the new DVD were the final three shows of Nogi's 2016 Summer tour. This year's will be starting at the same stadium where last year's ended, first concert will be in about a month. Yesterday posted many promo pics for the tour and here's part two of them, between them have hopefully included every member.
