Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kasumi Arimura: More "Narratage" film screening news plus ar mag pics

Don't think any non-Idol has hit the one hundred posts mark this year, looks like Kasumi should be the next actress but it won't happen for a while. She now has 82 and expect her to take a breather soon as she's been the busiest Japanese actress this year, my prediction will for one hundred will be.... next July!!!! That does sound like such a long time in the future but it's much harder for someone like Kasumi to have posts versus a member of Nogi.
Now that her asadora "Hiyokko" has finished it's run and the new film has come out Kasumi is currently starring in zero things and has no projects lined up yet for 2018. That's okay as 2017 was one busy year with the 156 episode asadora and four movies. Have a few new pics here from ar, the top three are from their site while the rest are from their November issue.

Checked the box office stats for last weekend's movies but they haven't been released yet. It's first week out "Narratage" was in the number two position and was wondering if it took the top spot this past weekend. That's because on October 16th Kasumi attended a 'thank you' screening for the film and as you can see in the bottom pics she was quite choked up from the fan's responses.
The event took place at the TOHO Cinemas in Roppogni Hills. Been a busy past  month for Kasumi promoting the film, there were two other screenings, the premiere in Tokyo and then one in Nagoya. The film was also shown at this years Busan Film Festival and then there was this event yesterday, guess it's time for a long vacation.
